INTRO TO WHITEWATER (HPP)

Why not join us at HPP and give Whitewater kayaking a go!?

These sessions are for those who already paddle on flat water and want to try giving moving water a chance...…Trust us you will love it!

You don't need a roll of to have even worn a spray deck before just be able to control a kayak on the flat and be up for trying out moving water.

These sessions will be based on the back channels that are fed from the main course and some time spent on the bank making sure the boat fits correctly.

After a quick and easy safety brief we will be playing, learning some new skills and using challenges to progress!

On a bonus not if you do fall in don't worry you can easily just stand up!

We will provide you with:

• Kayak suitable for Whitewater

• Buoyancy aid suitable for white water

• Paddle

• Suitable Helmet

We need you to bring

• Appropriate Paddling clothing for the weather (wetsuits can be made available if told in advance)

• Appropriate footwear (wet shoes or trainers)

• Full change of clothes and shower essentials

• All under 18's must be accompanied by a legal guardian who is also booked onto the course.
